GAINESVILLE — No. 4 Ole Miss travels to face No. 21 Florida in a matchup of two 3-0 SEC teams. Ole Miss is coming off a 32-24 win over No. 7 LSU, while Florida enters after a 44-39 road win at Auburn that moved the Gators into the AP Top 25. The game is Florida’s first home SEC contest of the season.
Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has been one of the team’s biggest storylines through three games. He helped the Rebels rally past LSU with a go-ahead touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Running back Kewan Lacy has also been a major contributor, although he is currently uncertain for Florida after suffering a shoulder injury against LSU.
Florida has emerged as one of the early surprises in the SEC under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall.
