LOUISVILLE — Wake Forest travels to face No. 23 Louisville in an ACC matchup during Week 4. Wake Forest enters 2-1 after opening with wins over Akron and Purdue before losing 33-20 to Miami. Louisville is 2-1 after losing to Ole Miss, beating Villanova, and then defeating No. 16 SMU to open ACC play.
Wake Forest has been led by quarterback Gio Lopez, who is averaging 296.7 passing yards per game. The North Carolina transfer had his first interceptions of the season against Miami, but the Demon Deacons have already shown they can produce offensively, including a 38-36 double-overtime win at Purdue.
Louisville enters after a significant conference win over SMU.
