LAS VEGAS — The Raiders enter at 3-3 after a 33-30 loss to Buffalo, while the Rams are 2-4 and trying to stop a two-game losing streak. Los Angeles fell 18-16 to Arizona last week, leaving the Rams at the bottom of the NFC West despite entering the season with championship expectations.
The Rams continue to rely on Matthew Stafford, who has thrown for 1,794 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Kyren Williams has 393 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while Puka Nacua becomes even more important to the passing game because of a major injury at receiver.
Davante Adams will not get the opportunity to face his former team. He suffered a ruptured hamstring against Arizona and is expected to miss six to 10 weeks. Los Angeles is also without defensive linemen Poona Ford and Kobie Turner, while Myles Garrett remains sidelined following knee surgery.
Las Vegas counters with Kirk Cousins, who has thrown for 1,582 yards and 14 touchdowns. Brock Bowers leads the Raiders with 382 receiving yards, while rookie Ashton Jeanty has 313 rushing yards. Jeanty’s ability to take advantage of the Rams’ depleted defensive front could be particularly important.
