Game Analysis:
GLENDALE — The Broncos enter at 4-2 after consecutive victories, while the Cardinals are 2-4 after snapping a four-game losing streak with an 18-16 upset of the Rams. Denver survived Seattle 17-14 in overtime last week, but its offense managed only 168 total yards.
Bo Nix remains the biggest question for Denver’s offense. He has thrown for 1,049 yards with six touchdowns and three interceptions, but his production has dropped sharply over the past two games. Sean Payton has said there is no consideration of a quarterback change and wants better protection and more balance around Nix.
Arizona is led by Jacoby Brissett, who has thrown for 1,328 yards with nine touchdowns and six interceptions. He threw for 218 yards against the Rams, while Bam Knight provided 80 rushing yards. Trey McBride remains Arizona’s most consistent receiving threat.
Denver’s defense could decide the matchup. The Broncos have 18 sacks and seven interceptions, but their secondary is dealing with significant injuries. Pat Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga are expected to be out, while Riley Moss is dealing with a rib injury. Arizona is also banged up, with running back Jeremiyah Love dealing with an ankle injury.
