LAWRENCE — No. 23 Missouri travels to Kansas for the latest edition of the Border War, with both teams entering 1-0. Missouri opened with a dominant 54-14 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, while Kansas handled LIU 51-6. The Tigers won last year’s rivalry meeting 42-31 in Columbia, but this time the Jayhawks get the home-field advantage.
Missouri has looked strong offensively behind quarterback Austin Simmons, who threw for 252 yards and four touchdowns in the opener.
