EUGENE — No. 2 Oregon opens the season at home against Boise State in one of the more intriguing Week 1 matchups. The Ducks are coming off another College Football Playoff appearance and have the talent to make another championship run, while Boise State enters 2026 as one of the favorites in the new-look Pac-12 after going 9-5 last season.
Oregon is led by quarterback Dante Moore, who returns after a strong 2025 season and is surrounded by one of the deepest rosters in the country. The Ducks have 14 returning starters and enter with huge expectations under Dan Lanning, making this an early opportunity to show that they belong among the national championship favorites.
