UNIVERSITY PARK — No. 19 USC enters at 5-1 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play, while Penn State is 3-2 and still looking for its first conference win. The Trojans are coming off a 25-21 comeback against Washington, while the Nittany Lions were beaten 34-13 by Northwestern.
USC has been one of the Big Ten's more productive offenses, averaging 37.3 points and 467.8 yards per game. Jayden Maiava has thrown for 1,744 yards, while King Miller leads the rushing attack with 493 yards. USC also leads the nation in first downs through six games.
