Analysis:

Ladies and gentlemen... It's time!! We have more UFC action as this weekend provides us with an excellent card filled with star studded fights. I'm here to break it down and tell you what you need to know to make the most out of this sweet offer from Bet365. Let's get into it!

Now Jorge Masvidal is still relevant for sure, but this fight will be big in defining his future. Despite being one of the bigger names on this card, he is a huge underdog. At +350 there is crazy value if he can swing a win, but there's a reason he's an underdog. It's been a tough stretch of fights for Jorge. In fact, he has not had a win since 2019 when he beat Nate Diaz. Since then he has lost to Usman twice and Covington once, not fighting since March of 2022 which was over a year ago. Jorge's opponent Gilbert Burns absolutely has the upper hand here. He is much more dominant on the ground with his expert Jiu Jitsu, and even though Masvidal's major strength is his striking, Burns still can hold his own on his feet with Jorge. Masvidal has the experience and can use the Miami crowd to his advantage, but his lack of recent experience, age, and problems once the fight gets to the ground will be his undoing. Sure, Burns is no spring chicken coming in at 36 years old himself, but Masvidal is 38 and hasn't fought in over a year. Burns already has a win this year, and overall should have the edge in this one. I know picking Jorge Masvidal is the fun big name pick, but I don't see the value on him, and Burns is huge odds. Give me over 1.5 rounds in this fight.

Now the main event of this card should be an electric bout. It's a fight for the Middleweight belt as Alex Pereira looks to defend his title against the fan favorite Israel Adesanya. Now Pereira dealt Izzy just his second ever loss in their first matchup and title fight back in November of last year. Alex comes into this fight with a record of 7-1, with his only ever loss coming in 2015. This dude has not lost since Lil Uzi Vert blew up. Crazy stuff. Since then he only has seven fights, but now has a belt of his own and beat people like Izzy, Sean Strickland, and Bruno Silva to get there. The dude has an impressive record and has already beaten Adesanya, so why is he the underdog? I'll tell you why. Izzy is just on of, if not the best striker in the world. He was winning a majority of that last fight but got a little cocky and comfortable and it ended up costing him his belt. I don't know if any of you follow him on social media but man this guy wants his hardware back. He is absolutely dialed in and will not easily forget being embarrassed last year. There is a reason he has only lost twice in his long career, and despite losing last fight is favored this time around. Give me the Stylebender to win this one.
