Game Analysis:

This is the powerhouse matchup that we were looking for. The second and third seeds in the East, and two of the three teams that make up the trifecta of best teams in the NBA. As a Celtics fan, am I worried about the 76ers who have a potential MVP on their roster, and James Harden slotting into his role as a pass-first player perfectly? Absolutely not. Did you see what we just did to the Bucks? The Sixers should be scared of the Celts.

What can I say positively about the Philidelphia 76ers? Well, unlike their other three major sports teams, they haven’t yet lost in the post-season. So that’s something I guess. And yes before you punch your screen or burn something to the ground in true Philly fan fashion, I can’t not mention Joel Embiid. Embiid has been a monster this season. He’s averaging 33 points per game and over 10 rebounds per game in an insane double-double. He still finds something to complain about every single game before jumping on Twitter and calling other players soft but hey, everyone has areas of improvement. Between Embiid and Harden watching Philly games is less entertaining than watching paint dry. The sheer amount of free throws they shoot is just disgusting. I guess I have to give props to James Harden because he passes more than twice a game now with 10 assists per game, but he just can’t stop complaining.

The Celtics on the other hand play some high-tempo basketball generating a million threes and if they’re hot good freaking luck stopping them. As the Celts just showed the world, you cannot underestimate this team ever. The Bucks thought they would own Boston and instead were handed their biggest loss in franchise history. Oops. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the best duo in the NBA and they’re about to show Embiid and Harden why. Jayson Tatum is averaging 30 points per game, and Brown is averaging 26 points per game. They are both having the best seasons of their career which is crazy because they made the NBA Finals last season. They also have the future 6MOTY on their team and the current DPOY on their team so good luck beating their bench unit or scoring on them.
