For Virginia, Pribula needs to settle in quickly, the new receiving group needs to create separation, and the Cavaliers need to take advantage of their opportunity to play at home.
Ultimately, this is one of the more interesting games on the Week 0 slate because neither team is simply trying to survive an opener. Virginia has expectations after last year's ACC success, while NC State believes it has the quarterback and offensive continuity to challenge for a much bigger season.
