Game Analysis:
The Pac-12 is set to witness a thrilling encounter as the No. 22 USC Trojans prepare to face off against the No. 7 Oregon Ducks in a showdown this week. Both teams are brimming with talent and have a history of intense competition.
The Trojans, coming off a loss to the Washington Huskies by the score of 52-42, have shown their strength on both ends of the ball. Their offense, led by quarterback Caleb Williams, recorded 312 passing yards while going 27-for-35 with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added 10 carries for 16 yards and one touchdown. In that matchup, Austin Jones had an 11-carry, 127-yard game.
On the other hand, the Ducks, led by coach Dan Lanning, are coming off of a win over the California Golden Bears. In that matchup, Bo Nix led the Ducks with 386 yards on 29-of-38 passing (76.3%) for four touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball five times for 3 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Mar’Keise Irving carried the ball 18 times for 89 yards (4.9 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. He also had four receptions for 28 yards. Tez Johnson had 12 receptions for 180 yards (15.0 per catch) and two touchdowns against the Golden Bears.
