Notre Dame's offense is led by quarterback CJ Carr, who has thrown for 963 yards, nine touchdowns and one interception while completing more than 70% of his passes. The Irish also just put together a 49-10 win over Purdue, continuing a stretch in which they've scored at least 41 points in three of their four games.
North Carolina is in its second season under Bill Belichick and has shown improvement after going 4-8 in 2025. Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. has 611 passing yards and three touchdowns, while running back Benjamin Hall leads the Tar Heels with 215 rushing yards and six yards per carry.
