FOXBOROUGH — The Steelers travel to face the Patriots in Week 2, with Pittsburgh entering 1-0 after a 20-13 win over Atlanta and New England at 0-1 following a 13-10 loss to defending champion Seattle. It is Pittsburgh’s first road game of the season and New England’s home opener.
The Steelers opened the Mike McCarthy era with a strong defensive performance, recording four sacks and two interceptions against Atlanta. The team also came through Week 1 without any reported injuries significant enough to change its depth chart, giving Pittsburgh a relatively stable roster heading into the matchup.
New England’s offense struggled against Seattle, particularly after taking a 10-0 lead.
