KANSAS CITY — The Chiefs enter at 4-0 and are the AFC’s only remaining unbeaten team, while the Chargers are 0-5 after a 23-17 loss to Denver. Kansas City is coming out of its bye week after beating Las Vegas 30-27, while Los Angeles is still searching for its first win despite playing several competitive games.
Kansas City has gotten a strong start from Patrick Mahomes, who has thrown for 1,037 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. Kenneth Walker III has also become a major part of the offense, rushing for 537 yards and four touchdowns while adding two receiving scores.
The Chargers’ biggest issue has been their offense. Justin Herbert has thrown for 937 yards with five touchdowns and seven interceptions while being sacked 17 times. Los Angeles is also monitoring several important offensive players, including Ladd McConkey and tackle Joe Alt.
