EAST RUTHERFORD — The Browns enter at 3-1 after three straight wins, including a 27-24 victory over Pittsburgh, while the Jets are 1-3 after losing three consecutive games. Cleveland has rebounded strongly from its season-opening loss to Jacksonville, while New York is coming off a 23-12 loss to Chicago.
Cleveland has been led by Deshaun Watson, who has thrown for 855 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. Ashton Jeanty has also become an important part of the offense, contributing 429 total yards and two receiving touchdowns through four games, while Brock Bowers has 202 receiving yards in his two games.
The Jets are built around Geno Smith and Garrett Wilson in the passing game. Smith has 902 passing yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions, while Wilson leads New York with 270 receiving yards. The running game could be affected again by Breece Hall's quad injury, as he was unable to play against Chicago.
Cleveland has an important defensive injury to monitor in Mason Graham, who suffered MCL and ankle sprains against Pittsburgh after recording four sacks through the first four games. New York also lost defensive end Braiden McGregor for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
