Game Analysis:
If you were to tell me that LSU would be ranked #5 in the country and going to the SEC Championship game after getting blown out by Tennessee at home, I would have said you’re smoking crack. Although they haven’t always looked the best, LSU is a team full of talented transfers and I think it just took some time for them to adjust and figure out a new system. They are now on fire winning their last 5 games in a row, and thank god because I was starting to worry for Brian Kelley’s safety.
I don’t have much to say about Texas A&M other than they suck. Year after year Jimbo Fisher brings in a top 5 recruiting class and they never can live up to the hype. This year has been especially brutal for them as they’ve lost their last 6 games in a row. (A 1-10 UMASS team does not count as a win)
Going into this game LSU has everything to play for while Texas A&M has nothing to lose, which could make things interesting. On top of that it’s at Texas A&M on senior day and a rivalry game. That being said I am still taking LSU, their defense will take care of business against a Texas A&M team whose total offense ranks 96 in the country behind teams such as Vanderbilt and Mizzou.
