FOXBOROUGH — The Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots meet Saturday night at Gillette Stadium in a preseason matchup that has become considerably more interesting after two days of joint practices. Philadelphia enters at 0–1 after losing to Baltimore, while New England is 0–0–1 following its tie with Indianapolis. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
The biggest storyline is Jalen Hurts and the Eagles' first-team offense. The Eagles are trying to establish that their new-look offense can maintain its championship standard, while the Patriots are trying to prove their rise to the AFC's elite is legitimate. The scoreboard matters little; the quality of the first-team reps is what makes this matchup worth watching.
